Stacey Kinney (MFC35122) is a licensed marriage & family therapist who specializes in individual and family therapy and child custody issues. She maintains a private practice in Mission Viejo, CA. With over 20 years of experience working with families in Orange County, CA, Stacey currently interacts with a broad spectrum of clients. Her areas of expertise include child sexual abuse, trauma, domestic violence, divorce/separation, infertility and child custody issues. She is a graduate of California State University Fullerton with a MS in clinical psychology and University of California Santa Barbara where she received a BA in liberal studies.
Stacey's therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback that aid clients in effectively addressing personal life challenges. She integrates complementary techniques to offer a personalized approach that is tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth that they are committed to accomplishing.
Stacey has worked with juvenile courts providing therapy to victims of sexual abuse and their families for UCI Medical Center's FOCUS program and as a social worker with Orange County Children & Family Services. She served as clinical director at the Mariposa Family Center in Orange, supervising marriage and family therapists, interns and trainees and overseeing the Women's Substance Abuse and Family Counseling Programs. In addition, she taught exam preparation classes for the PASS System preparing interns for the marriage & family therapist licensing exams. Child Custody Evaluator Stacey has completed all of the requirements set forth in Family Code Sections 1815, 1816 and 3111 and CA Rules of Court 5.225 and 5.230 to perform child custody evaluations and is on the Family Court Panel for Orange County.

Stacey is active in the community and has served on advisory and community boards of directors for Orangewood Children's Foundation’s 44 Women for Children. She is an active speaker for nonprofit organizations including the Junior League of Orange County, CA where she served as president in 2003 and 2004.
Amy Neufeld, MA, MFTI Amy Neufeld lovingly provides emotional and behavioral therapy for individuals, children, and families in need. Though she draws from many different disciplines, Amy is a firm believer in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a systemic approach. She works with adults, teens, and children, with anxiety, depression, ADHD, divorce, blended families, and grief.
In a comfortable and friendly atmosphere, Amy offers a highly personalized approach. While in her care, clients experience tremendous growth and learn to integrate the skills and tools needed to achieve, and maintain, psychological and emotional wellness.
Amy is also an active member of The Parent Mentor Program for the Laguna Beach School District where she provides support and guidance to families who have children with special needs. Before working at South County Counseling, Amy worked at the Friendship Shelter in Laguna Beach where she lead group therapy sessions and helped individuals return to a more stable way of life.
Amy graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She received a Masters Degree from Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. And she truly adores her work.

Marjan Tal, MA, MFTI Marjan has been helping her clients overcome issues of marital conflict, motherhood and parenting, self-esteem, trauma, and women's issues for the past 5 years. She has extensive experience as a teacher which helps her connect with clients of all ages and backgrounds. Marjan's approach is collaborative and client-centered. She helps her clients reach their desired goals while staying non-judgmental and compassionate. She is passionate about helping Women and girls with their self esteem issues and overcoming their problems on the path of life. Marjan has lived in London, Iran, Canada, and California. She is familiar with different cultures and is fluent in English and Farsi. She Is trained in the renowned Gottman Method of couples therapy.
